The Domain Car Park has commenced upgrade and refurbishment works.

**Please note: The access to the Domain via the internal stairs is currently restricted until March.
To access the Domain and Art Gallery of NSW the alternate routes from the inside the car park are as follows:
- Via the express walkway in the car park foyer on level 1A
- Via the pedestrian doors to St Marys Road on level Blue 2A & Green 1A.
- Via Sir John Young Crescent on the lower Yellow level of the car park  

The car park will remain fully operational and open throughout the works and we will be working closely with the builders to ensure minimal impact on our customers. The works will be completed in stages which will mean only small sections of the car park will be affected at any one time.

The upgrade will include a number of significant improvements that will benefit customers including:

- Installation of 2 new pedestrian lifts
 
- Improved disabled access

- Upgrades to fire and safety equipment

- Proposed asphalt footpaths to St Marys Road

- Upgraded car park access equipment
 
- Upgrades to toilet facilities
